Reportedly, the mom of eight is in discussions to star in a new reality show — this time focusing on finding new love!
“Love her or hate her, people are fascinated by Kate,” a TV executive told Rob Shuter of PopEater.com. “She has a lot of mouths to feed and Kate looking for love will certainly put bread on the table.”
The show is still in the discussion stage and has not yet been given a go ahead… but stay tuned to the news if you’re a Kate fan. Just remember, you better like kids.
Fat Folks Kicked Off Online Dating Site
Put on a couple of pounds over Christmas? If so, be glad that you’re not a member of BeautifulPeople.com.
The online dating site which bans “ugly people” reportedly kicked out 5,000+ members who had apparently enjoyed a little TOO much holiday cheer over the Christmas holidays.
Actually, the action was called for by members (those that ate salad over the holidays) after seeing holiday photos of those who had put on a few pounds.
The company responded by moving the chubbies back into the rating stage and making them re-apply to the site. Applications were reviewed and only a few hundred were allowed back in.
The founder of BeautifulPeople.com apparently said: ”Letting fatties roam the site is a direct threat to our business model and the very concept for which BeautifulPeople.com was founded.”
Egads.
Does anyone else think that the whole concept of this site is completely bizarre?
Personally, I hope the newly chubbed out former members of BeautifulPeople get the hint and sign up for a real online dating service… one that values the WHOLE person, not just external beauty – something we all know retrreats with age.

More than 90% of ‘Russian Brides’ Have a Degree
Here’s some interesting information about Russian women that Elena’s Models released to the press.
Gold Coast, Australia (PRWEB) — According to Elena’s Models, an online dating agency for Russian and Eastern European women seeking western men for marriage, most Russian brides are highly educated professionals, with more than 90% of female members of their site being college or university graduates.
What else can be said about the typical ‘Russian bride’? She is about 35 years old, Caucasian, Christian, non-smoker, has medium to long hair, and she is slim to normal built. She is either divorced (49.9%) or never married (46.1%), and she can be either childless (51%) or already have kids (49%).
Country-wise, most ‘Russian brides’ are, not surprisingly, from Russia, with Ukraine holding sizable second. Altogether, ‘Russian brides’ reside in 59 countries of the world, the top ten countries being, respectively: Russia (52.19%), Ukraine (26.58%), Bulgaria (4.99%), Belarus (3.90%), Romania (3.27%), Kazakhstan (2.18%), Uzbekistan (1.60%), Kyrgyzstan (1.03%), Moldova (0.80%), and United States (0.79%).
It is worth noticing that Russian women living abroad often prefer to use a dating agency specializing in introductions to women from Russia and Eastern Europe rather than a local dating service.
The new research contradicts the traditional view of ‘mail order brides’ as low-class, uneducated girls that don’t know better. According to Elena’s Models, most of their female clients are professionals that are established in life and career and would like to share their success with a worthy man. Russia has one of the lowest male-to-female ratios in the world, with only 86 men for 100 women.
